Roland Collins popularly known as his stage name Troy Ave from the Crown Heights neighborhood of Brooklyn, New York City has gained much popularity as a rapper. The independent rapper kick started his career in 2009 picking up his rap moniker from the street he grew up on in Crown Heights named Troy Avenue. Troy released his first studio album in 2013 called ‘New York City: The Album’, which debited on the US Billboard Top R&B/Hip-Hop Albums chart which made him feature in XXL magazine’s 2014 Freshmen Class. Being a popular hip-hop artist, he has given many hits till date like, “Your Style” and “All About The Money,” which made him zoom up the popularity charts in no time.
He has had his share of controversies which have kept him in news, the more recent ones being the Irving Plaza shootout in 2016, for which he was arrested and later released on bail. He dropped a single “Chuck Norris (Hoes & Gangstas)” and a mixtape called Free Troy Ave, in reference to this current episode where he was charged with the shootings. Fans are eager to know the real story behind this episode and now Troy brings out a one of its kind reality show which will give his fans an opportunity to take a sneak peek inside his life. The reality show is titled ‘All About The Money’, of which Troy has dropped a four part episode on YouTube. The episodes are slated to release every Wednesday, and it will document the rappers lifestyle and his daily routine which will be full of entertainment. Fans are surely going to love watching their favourite rappers serious and light hearted moments through the idiot box.
The reality show is titled on his 2015 hit single “All About The Money”, and will showcase Troy’s life in detail, right from his music business ventures, real estate, fashion and the nitty-gritties of his personal life, a major part of which will have his relationship with his two sons and will also feature the controversial 2016 Irving Plaza shooting. One of the episodes even shows him commenting on dealing with the court case which can land him in jail up to twenty years. The reality show is going to garner much attention in coming times owing to it’s interesting content which is going to draw much viewership, for sure.
The ongoing Court cases have not stopped Troy from dropping new music on a regular basis and now he is all set to sweep his fans off their feet through his new reality series which will air every Wednesday on YouTube at 8:00 p.m.
